Coatings

As standard, our shock absorbers are plated with Electroless Nickel. This gives them a high standard of protection against the elements, whilst also giving them an attractive look. This is the only part of the build process where the units leave our factory, as this process is done by specialists in the coating field.

We are often asked to paint units, either to reduce the build time (painting is done at the factory) or for 'Classic' cars where the customer prefers the units to have the original look. We also paint units where a hub or stub axle is integral.
