MGZR Supercup 2006

The idea behind this series came from a conversation between two MG ZR fanatics, namely Beverley Miles, Managing Director of Leda Suspension and Niall Cowan, driver of a Group N ZR and partner in Diamond Motorsport. Their vision was to encourage use of these fantastic British built cars in a friendly and truly competitive rally series. Few can argue that the BTRDA offers anything other than fantastic rallies at reasonable costs and for this reason the 2006 MG SUPERCUP will run on all rallies in the BTRDA 1400cc championship.
The MG SUPERCUP has secured some really good prizes and hopes that more companies will join those already involved in what is set to be a exciting and fun series in 2006. Close competition is assured with these reliable little cars and a novel twist is that competitors will be free to use whatever make of tyre they wish.
