For the 6th time in a row, Niall 'Schumacher' Cowan was first in class at the latest round of the BTRDA Group N Rally Series last weekend.

A scorching hot day at Llandovery welcomed the Diamond Motorsport crew as they prepared to tackle the 2005 Quinton stages rally. Niall and Pamela knew another win would hand them the N1 championship and they set of on the first stage with a view to throwing the gauntlet down to the other N1 crews. Everything was going to plan with some good times being set until SS4 when a rock punctured the sumpguard and damaged the tank guard, a quick look showed the petrol gauge at empty and the crew feared the worst. It turned out that the sender had been damaged but it could have been much worse.
No further drama's arose and the crew finished almost 3 minutes clear of their nearest rival, 1st in N1 and 48th overall.
