Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series 2007

The BTRDA are very pleased to announce that Silverstone Competition Tyres have agreed to sponsor the BTRDA Rally Series for a further three years from 2007 – 2009. This is excellent news for the future of the UK’s most popular Rally Championships.
To provide maximum opportunity for competitors the BTRDA will continue to promote three prestigious Rally Championships.

· Silverstone Tyres Gold Star Championship - for all vehicles over 1400cc.
· Silverstone Tyres Silver Star Championship – exclusively for 2 wheel drive cars.
· The 1400 Rally Championship running ahead of the main field with four classes.

Best 6 scores count (from max of 9 starts) which gives great choice and flexibility from a calendar of the very best Nat B forest events. All event entry fees (inc RalliTrak) will remain under £400 and championship registration fees have been frozen.

In addition to the very competitive BTRDA Production Cup there will be a new Clubman Production Cup for earlier model N4 cars (eg:Evo 5’s) and previously homologated N4 cars.
The exciting new Ginetta Cup will run in the 1400 Rally Championship with its own awards and incentives.
10 vehicle classes will ensure there is a place for every car and there are Junior, Under 25, Ladies and Seniors awards plus a range of bonus schemes. The free to enter Holfeld Pumps Team Challenge provides a friendly team competition with £1,500 of cash prizes.
The 1400 Rally Championship will run exclusively on Silverstone Competition Tyres* and will have four separate classes - N1, A5, B8 and B9 and the MG ZR Supercup.
· £500 prizes for each of the four 1400 championship classes.
· Cash awards for each of the 1400 championship classes on every event.
· Two free tyres as part of the first set purchased from Service and Sport.
· Tyre prices from £60 for registered championship competitors.
New for 2007, vehicles that comply with the MSA Enduro regs (1400cc with stage safety) will be welcomed into Class N1.
Service and Sport, the European distributor for Silverstone Competition Tyres will provide a full on event tyre fitting service and a bonus scheme to all championship competitors based around the quantity of tyres purchased. The more tyres purchased the cheaper they get! This ensures that support is available to all competitors.
