Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series 2007

In the first ever season of the MGZR Supercup, Matt Cotton and Anthony Godden have become not only the first winners, but also Group N1 winners too!

Matt Cotton made this announcement on the MGZR Supercup website......

"We have just had confirmation from the BTRDA that we have managed to take both the BTRDA XSPEC 1400 N1, and the MG ZR SUPERCUP titles for 2006. It has been an amazing year for us and really could not have done this without the invaluable help from all our backers and supporters. For that, we are indebted!

Both Anthony and I have been very pleased with our performance this year, in what is our first full championship season. Our speed and consistency has increased considerably from the Wyedean in February, till the Woodpecker last weekend. Taking both titles with 2 rounds to go, was unthinkable back at the start of the year. But thanks to the advice and help along the way that people within the sport have provided to the team, we now can bring the N1 and Supercup titles back to sunny Cornwall for the first time!

Its been great fun, and although we are not sure what 2007 holds, we hope that we can make just as many friends, and have just as much fun along the way!
