Martin Brooks Wins at Brands Hatch
After an emergency dash to the Leda factory to replace a damaged canister hose on Friday afternoon, Martin Brooks kicked off the 2006 RGB season in fine style with a great win at Brands Hatch on Sunday 2nd April. Qualifying 2nd of a field of 32 in the, new for 2006, Stuart Taylor Phasar, Brooks stormed to the front on lap 4 and was never headed. "The new leda equipped car is showing great potential and Brooks is convinced there is plenty more to come from the car when the car is properly set up" said Martin after the weekend. In 2005 Martin Brooks won the 750 Motor Club Championship for Road-Legal Bike-Engined Sportscars (RGB) in a Stuart Taylor Phoenix using Leda double adjustable dampers. back to News page |
