Servicing Issues
We are aware that servicing of Leda units has been done by companies / individuals other than LEDA or their authorised service centres. Please be aware that this can severely affect the performance of your shock absorber, as these unauthorised companies / dealers will not be using the high quality component parts that we at Leda use. We have a perfect example at our factory this week - a kit has come to us for a service. The kit was from a car recently bought by a regular customer of ours, and the shock absorbers were brought in to us for a usual service. When the shock absorbers were examined by our workshop, they were found to have a range of 'unknown' parts inside, including plastic bags - not a system we use at Leda !!!!
To ensure the continuing high performance of your Leda shock absorbers, please make sure that you send them back to our factory in Essex, or use only one of our authorised service centres. For more information, please contact us.
