Servicing / Rebuilding Shock Absorbers
All Leda units are fully serviceable and rebuildable. This means that a Leda kit could last as long as the lifetime of the car!
Most of our servicing work comes in to us in the first 3 months of the year, when our competition customers suddenly realise they need to get their cars ready - we highly recommend people to send them in at the END of the season, not the beginning, as the end of the season is a quieter time for us. We cannot always guarantee to return your units in time for an event in the beginning of the motorsport season, although we always try to accommodate emergencies!
If units are damaged in an accident, they can often be repaired. We would need to evaluate the damage first, and then call to discuss.
For road customers, we recommend a service after approximately 30,000 miles.
Installation
Once we have built your kit, we can either send it to you or we can install it on your car at our factory in
Derbyshire. If you are not confident to install it yourself, we are also happy to recommend companies around the country who can do it for you.
4 Wheel Alignment
We have top of the range laser 4 wheel alignment system at our factory. We align the car after installation, but are also happy to do alignments whether you buy a Leda kit or not. Just give us a call, and we can book you in. In most cases, we can make adjustments, this depends on the model of the car.
Corner Weighting
We also have accurate corner weighting scales, so can corner weight your car by appointment. Please call us to book in.
Testing
We are sometimes asked to attend testing sessions in order to help with the suspension set-up. We are very happy to do this, please call us for more details on what we can offer at your testing session and how much we will charge you.
